I agree with the other posts. You are not wasting anyone’s time. We can’t speculate about what it might or might not be. But we can insist on being referred because unexpected bleeding is not a symptom that should just be ignored. Do not wait until July. Do not feel you’re wasting your GPS time! It’s their job! You’re not going there with a cold!  As others have said, ask to see another GP and don’t be fobbed off or made to wait weeks. A GP just ignoring it because they don’t know what it is, is totally unacceptable. Let us know how it goes.

Ditto everyone else. Don't wait. Don't get fobbed off. See GP again or different GP. Get referral.

All the best and try not to worry

Well done.  Sometimes it's easier to bury one's head in the sand and hope that symptoms will stop.

Let us know how you get on!?!

Unfortunately that’s poor practice, to say they don’t know and do nothing. What they should do at the very least, is refer you for a scan. July is a long way off yet and if it IS anything sinister, you want it dealing with sooner rather than later?

I agree with Nas, this is classed as irregular bleeding and you need to be seen much sooner than July.

You seem very complacent about what is potentially a serious matter, has the medical world gone bonkers here, sorry but I find this all crazy!

Agree with above. Perhaps complain to the practice manager? If it's something sinister July is far too long to wait. I really don't think you should accept this without a fight.

lisa06031510 I have also had a hysterectomy, everything gone. If I had bleeding and tummy pain now, alarm bells would ring. I would not want to wait until July!

I'm just so used to this now.. 4 years of just being fobbed off...
The best one was when I was having suicidal thoughts and Dr didn't contact me for a week and when did just said it's to be expected with menopause 🙈
No more bleeding since last time... So will wait as I'm hoping the specialist will be more clued up...
