I don't remember any swelling or visible signs of anything, no. The trigger finger thing was very weird and I have videos of it.  ::)

Oh Joziel isn't it dreadful when we're told we're too young for menopause symptoms. That's why my VA took so long to diagnose - in fact I did that myself on here. I'm sitting in the menopause specialist waiting room as I type, hoping my symptoms will for once be taken seriously.
You fingers sound just dreadful. Not knowing what is causing it or how to make it better seems to make it just worse. You do end up wondering what the point of every thing is, don't you.

If it helps, I needed both Vagifem and Ovestin when I was on up to 4-6 pumps of gel.

When my systemic estrogen levels got higher as I increased the gel, I didn't need the local estrogen anymore. Which I'm v glad of as it was such a faff to put on twice a day. Would much rather put the gel on!!
