Yes most definitely. It’s really not what I expected. Think I’ll just accept my sex life is over.

How often are you using it? I remember when I first started I had some mild period type pain after a few weeks but not straight away but after that it was fine. I have no effects from any of the variations of topical estrogen I use other than a recent bleed when I increased the dose. Dont lose heart. Ask your doctor. It made such a difference for me sex wise.

Apart from helping against the oestrogen possibly affecting the cervix and/or getting into the womb, are there any other benefits to putting the Ovestin (I'm on cream) lower down (e.g. halfway up)? For instance, does it help pain on intercourse more?


So sorry you're having these problems OP. The whole thing is damned miserable at times. Keep trying though. Maybe get a different preparation?

The thing is VA doesnt just stop. It is a deteriorating condition. You dont want to end up really sore and tissue wasting or fusing. Ask your doctor for advice

That's why rings put inside make most sense, but ..there are shortages ..now.?
