Extreme progesterone intolerance
« on: February 06, 2024, 12:01:53 PM »

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have tried HRT twice, the first time with Evorel Sequi patches and the second more recently with the gel and Utrogestan (prescribed by the Newson clinic). Each time I have had a severe reaction to the progesterone. My anxiety was through the roof and I felt suicidal. I was also extremely nauseous with the anxiety first thing in the morning. There is no way I am going anywhere near progesterone again, and although I have some anxiety without the HRT, this is 10 times easier to cope with. I have started taking natural supplements in the form of Purolabs Menocomplex which appears to have very good reviews, so I'm hopeful. I was wondering if there was anyone who due to being progesterone intolerant, has  also decided not to take HRT, but perhaps found something else that benefits them? I am worried as my oestrogen levels are very low at 85.
