That's good.  Next break will be to ?

Not booked anything for the summer yet, will probably do a last minute thing depending on the weather here and how hot it gets abroad. Booked to Lanzarote in October with family and and grandkids in the school hols.

Nidd Hall looks very plush jaypo.
I thought Zeebrugge was just a sea port, is it a holiday resort too?

It's been a holiday destination since Victorian times.  We had half a day there on a school trip in 1968; dreary weather, run down properties.   :-\. Long beaches  8)

Bruges is lovely.  A couple of weeks ago I found my photographic/post card album from our School Trip in 1968, DH was along but we weren't an item in those days.  I even found the Hotel in which we stayed by GOOGLE-maps.  The wooden bridge across the canal which sounded like thunder all the while, has been replaced by a proper road surface.

We’re off to lanzarote in October.
We’re trying to decide where to go before that for a week or even a long weekend.

Have a look where the flights are cheap Jillydoll.  Someone I work with booked for Sicily for a long weekend. The flights were £27.99 return.

Depending where you live jillydoll - we love Northumberland.  Or Keswick with Wwalks: Ashness Bridge, Cat Bells if you want a good view over the Lake.  Castleton - brisk walk up Mam Tor, back down into Hope Valley with options of Manchester and Sheffield.

Chatsworth as well as  EYAM - [plague village ]

Winchester or other cathedral cities.  Shrewsbury is oldy-Worlde with lovely countryside close by, depends how much energy you might have and what you like doing.

Any1 planning on going away needs to get their applications in for postal votes ASAP.  Typically it falls on a busy sporting weekend across the UK, including the F1 British [car ] Prix!   ::)

Also 4th July ...........  :-\  :-X
