I was just reading a study where red clover raised testosterone levels, did not increase endometrial thickness, but it was not taken with hrt.
I'm interested that it does not seem to increase endometrial thickness, yet it provides estradiol and possibly testosterone. I'm no medic but wondering if it could be taken with hrt as long as estradiol levels don't get too high. Has anyone done this and what did your doctor say? And did they seem well informed?
Just wondering because hrt estradiol hurts my head at times and gives me weird feelings as though my heart is lagging behind what I am doing, like bad postural hypotension. It's getting better as I'm decreasing the dose but then I'm getting mild prolapsy symptoms. So looking for other approaches. Vaginal oestrgoen seems to be the one that affects my head the most, strangely enough.
