Cycle on HRT
« on: September 01, 2024, 10:55:06 PM »

Hi,
I am currently on 3sprays of lenzetto, 100mg cyclogst (every other day- my consultant is aware of this and it has been monitored- I cannot tolerate a higher dose as too  sensitive to progesterone) and 0.8mg androfeme (totesterone) which works well for me after over 2 years of trying different patches, tablets etc.

The only thing  is I seem to be on a week in , week out cycle. Week in gives me awful anxiety on top anxiety that I have had for years.

The week I am bad my breast tenderness completely goes the pimples on my cheeks get better but my anxiety goes sky high. Roughly 4-5days

Has I start to feel better my breast tenderness gets worse, the pimples on my cheeks get worse and my anxiety starts to go down. Roughly a week.
The night before I get better I never sleep the whole night. It's the same pattern.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has been or is in this type of cycle?

I don't think I understand what a 'week in, week out' cycle is...

Can you write like Day 1-10 - and what happens etc etc?

How long have you been on this dosage of everything for? It takes about 3 months for things to settle and there can be a lot of fluctuating random symptoms till then...

If all else fails, try more E. 3 pumps of Lenzetto is very low really. Lenzetto is very weak, that's probably about 1.5 pumps of Oestrogel. It's an incredibly low E dose. You are probably still experiencing the fluctuations of your own ovaries and hormones because you are adding a tiny dose of estrogen.

However, you will need to think about the P situation if you increase E. You might need to try a progestin or a Mirena coil....
