I have been on EStradot 75 and Ultrogestan successfully for last 5 years. Some symptoms returning mainly anxiety so asked GP r3 adding a pump of Gel. He agreed and seems to be helping symptoms but my breasts are really sore and some dark brown spotting

Am I having too much oestrogen ?

Do I need more ultrogestan?

Is it early days and should I give it a bit more time ?

Probably too much oestrogen. R U adding the extra pump nightly, mayB do it twice a week with gaps and see how your body reacts?

It can take 3 months to get used to any change in dosage. x

I switched from Estradot 50 to 2 pumps of oestrogel and it was so strong I had to take it one pump at a time and wait for the wave of dizzy nausea to pass before applying the next pump later. It's the different delivery system.
I got used to it and went up to three pumps but still had sweats at night so it's not too much oestrogen, but it's strong.
Now I'm on tibolone and just have oestrogel occasionally when I want a pick-me-up in the morning to help get me moving!
