Well hello!
For a couple of years I was getting stupidly stiff in the mornings, so took up yoga at home to help me.move more freely. That helped but this year my hips were getting really painful, was affecting my mobility. I had x-rays taken after a g.p consultation and was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both hips.
I started a course of physio which has begun to make a difference.
I mistakenly thought that my joint pain was hormonal related ( feel daft about that) and that hrt would alleviate it. I often read on here that many womens joint pain was indeed helped from hrt.
So I am slowly realising I can't blame everything on hormones! Osteoarthritis can worsen with age... I too take supplements, milled flax seed and evening primrose high dose capsules ( veggie ones, Obviously can't take fish oils etc)
It may be worth a check up with your dr if your hips are affecting day to day life.
