Yep.  As periods wax and wane [peri menopause] because hormones rise and fall, all kinds of symptoms may appear.

As oestrogen levels drop muscles may become lax = aches and pains.  Also the body may become dry: inside and out; skin, scalp, deep in the ears, eyes, nostrils, vagina  ::) it's The Change, does what it says on the tin.

Do a test - it is very unliklely that you are pregnant and why worry if a test can show a negative result?  Without you will continue to worry.

Browse round. Make notes.   :welcomemm:

Hello vickhutch and welcome to the forum. I agree your symptoms could be peri. Periods can be erratic in peri along with sore breasts.

Re supplements to help with menopause symptoms, this blog should help

Hopefully there will be a supplement or two for you.

Supplements can help initially but when hormones begin to wax and wane, some benefit may be lost.  Some should not be taken for more than 3 months at a time.  Let us know how you get on?
