We were all talking on a thread about utrogestan absorption (for vaginal use), I mentioned that there was information regarding absorption but it was relating to taking utrogestan vaginally for fertility use and not for hrt purposes.
I have found that information so here it is. I would post it on the thread we were discussing this, however I cannot find it:-
"Utrogestan is normally absorbed within minutes of insertion, however, it is advised that you wait 15 minutes before showering and 30 minutes before having sexual intercourse or swimming"
This is from Besins healthcare and as I stated above it is for fertility treatment, but I'm hoping it maybe the same for hrt use as well as i am trialing taking it vaginally in the mornings at the moment.
even using it vaginally at night disrupts me.
