I really could do with some help from you lovely ladies.
I started hrt last august to help with tinnitus, insomnia and chronic anxiety.
My sleep had previously always been really really good. I'd been on gel from last november and utrogestan.
My sleep has never been really good since I've been on hrt but a bit better; I had been experimenting with the way I was taking the utrogestan, I had been taking it vaginally at night, then I tried taking it orally to see if it would help my sleep. It didn't really so on the 1st May, I had a three day break from the utrogestan to try and 'reset' my system. On those 3 nights I didn't take the utro I slept well, so then I started taking it vaginally but in the mornings and for about 12 nights I slept well. However on about the 12th day I started having a bleed (my womb lining was just checked last November time and everything was fine) so I have just recently started taking it orally again, thinking that maybe taking it vaginally in the morning it wasn't being absorbed and maybe that was causing the bleed.
However my sleep the last few nights has gone back to the way it was last august in as much as I'm lying awake for literally hours on end, falling asleep in the early hours.
I really cannot go back to those dark days and this is really pushing me and my lovely hubby over the edge.
I'm already on 3 pumps of gel and I don't want to increase to 4 pumps of gel.
Does anyone have any ideas. Is it the change in the way I've been taking the utro, do I need more gel or what.
Thanks so much any advice would be gratefully received xx
