I took myself off to join an endometriosis forum to specifically ask whether or not others had experienced stroke like symptoms. Three others had and explained that they had all been diagnosed with hemiplegic migraine.
Not knowing what this is I did a bit of research and it used to be called silent migraine. There are symptoms called aura that can involve ocular spots/zigzags/misting to limb weakness, slurred speech and confusion. So I am possibly looking at a diagnosis.
The cause is a little more complex ranging from food, alcohol, caffeine, not enough or too much sleep, stress to medications.
The more logical reason for me is hormone imbalance from HRT, perimenopause and fluctuations in oestrogen in particular. It said that if episodes carry on to speak with a neurologist. Quickly taking mini aspirin at the first signs can help reduce an attack.
So...would a hysterectomy actually change things or make it worse! So many questions.
