Evorel sequi 50 and symptoms query
« on: April 06, 2023, 05:38:12 AM »

Hi all,

I've finally started on the evorel sequi patches after numerous blood tests and hoop jumping.

I know it can take a while for the symptoms to subside but I was wondering roughly how long it was before any improvement in symptoms was seen. I haven't slept properly in months and was hoping there might be some good news out there.

Thanks all

Hi Kaz210909

Usually you can expect to see a change within about 3 months of starting hrt.

From my own experience my lack of sleep was/is still a big issue. I always slept really really well in the past.

It has taken me and is still taking me quite a bit of tweaking with my hrt. I started hrt last august. I am post meno but
my estrogen levels were really low (as is normal for post meno women) but my body decided one day that it couldn't cope.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, as my sleep is improving.

I also use from time to time guided meditation at night as I was surprised how quickly a bad association, which can trigger
a bad association with bed time.

You will get there it just does unfortunately sometimes take time. However, at least you've taken steps by starting hrt.

You're not alone, many, many women, on here suffer or have suffered with bad sleep.

Keep on this forum as there is also good advice from other ladies.

Take care xxx

Hi Some symptoms should resolve quite quickly… within 2-4 weeks but others take up to 3 months and maybe longer. It is worth it though .

Everyone is different … keep asking questions .
