I can't remember the thread title  :-\

My gut is rumbling - I ate too much cheese for supper  :-X

I love cheese but since menopause I can't eat it as it gives me migraine and palpitations.  The doctor said it's the tyramine in it.

So envy you having cheese  ;D

My gut is pretty annoyed about something, but at least it's not my foot, that's what worries me atm.

I noticed with each case of covid I had through the pandemic it started with an upset stomach.

Yesterday my stomach was terribly noisy, I've never heard such loud noise coming from my stomach and for a good few hours after that hot episode.

I'll get a friend to drop a test in today as I've had a tickly cough on and off for a week (tests were negative with it though)

Virtual hospital update  ;D

Doctor has said a short lived episode like yesterday, just watch and wait, but anything going on we'll jump on with antibiotics.  At least I know that feeling a bit unwell doesn't mean that horrible thing is back.

Legs still feel a bit shivery, but no temperature.  Covid test negative as it usually is.  We'll see.

Today's ward round  ;D

My temp spike and gurgly stomach might have an explanation other than the cellulitis.  My mum just called, she woke up with a temp spike and slight diarrhea, she's now saying her stomach is really loud and gurgling.

I said it's too much of a coincidence, and it makes me a bit more sure it wasn't the cellulitis playing up.  The only thing we ate the same was 2 days ago, blueberry muffins from the shop.  Either that or both been exposed to covid even if my test was negative.  I'll do another one today.

Anyway I'm just relieved about the cellulitis side of things and my mum is ok now.

I'll do another test.

I hope your stomach troubles clear up soon.  When I've had covid in the past it started with bad stomach but then that went away, so hope it's the same for you.  Take care Jaypo.

I'm sure whatever this latest thing is, it's just here to freak me out and make me think it's still related to the cellulitis infection.  But my foot and leg look so much better and I know the doctor would not think it was that.

But last night woke up shivering, my temperature was 35.2 C.  Before anyone thinks that's really bad, it does go low at night and I think it's my underactive thyroid.  But I was cold.  I think the temperature outside had dropped though.

I felt slight nausea and aware my stomach / bowel is irritable still, but it was very mild so I got firm with myself and told myself to go back to sleep.

Zero energy.  Paralysed and can't do anything around the house, getting a bit fed up with that as it's a meno symptom too, but never this bad.  Anyway no diarrhoea like the other day, hope that means this is getting better whatever it is.  I wouldn't worry about it on it's own, would just let it take its course, but I don't want it to be because of the skin infection (but that's healed pretty much)
