long time since i was on, I am 53 and only started back on HRT in 2022 after several years off. I am on 100mg Utrogestan Orally since October. on the advice of my specialist i take it every day with no break. I also have a 50 mg Evoerel patches twice a week, again with no break. Since Feb 23 i have been trying testim gel to help with Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder and to support vaginal atrophy.
In last 4 weeks and particularly today i am getting bleeding. Its dark brown with scraps of clots, sort of like you get at the end of the period.
And today i feel crampy ( though not as bad as when i actually had periods - when i would be in agony) and PMS like (ie mood swings and very weepy) Anyone have any experience with this?
I have sent a question to my docs via the online request portal we have at my GP surgery but just wondering if anyone on here has any explanation as to why i might be experiencing this ,My last period was around 2016 and I am just curious as to whether these are side effects of any of the HRT combo i am taking
