Hi I’ve been taking Femoston 1/10 for 10 weeks now (it’s done wonders, feel like 75% me again as to zero before starting it). First 14 days estrogen only pill, next 14 days estrogen and progesterone. I’ve found I bleed on the estrogen and progesterone pill for roughly two weeks 😡  It starts about 3 days after taking the first one and finishes roughy 3-4 days after stopping that pill. It’s a light-medium bleed. Has anyone else had this and just wondering if it will eventually stop. Oh I’m peri, 52 and my periods have been stopping for the last year and a bit and then starting again. Thanks  I’m advance 😊

When I was on Femoston 2/10 for 2.5 years age 50-52 I bled in the combined pill often. I had some cycles no bleed, some in the estrogen only and lots in the combined. Normal scans so no issues. My GP wasn’t concerned by it at all.
Great news it’s suiting you! I loved it- it was the best HRT I have used (now in gel and prog) and I have packs in my cupboard should I want to switch back as I’m struggling with getting the right dose with gel after a long period of control.
I’m almost 55 now so likely entered menopause full on after 9 years of peri! I seemed to stop absorbing the tablets so my gynae added an extra pump of gel and then I switched over.
I think it’s one of the best things out there.
But regards your light bleeding- mine was exactly the same- I don’t think it’s a concern and things will take time to settle (up to 6 months) on any new regime. Perhaps see how things go and you could always run past your doc if worrying.

Thank you so much for commenting. It’s a relief to know it will settle eventually. Just have to go with the flow, because it has made me feel a lot better physically and a little mentally. Still having mood swings, but not as bad as pre HRT. Here’s to everything settling down. Thanks

Hi I’ve just started to take femoston 1/10 (on my third week) can I ask did you start bleeding on the first month? I was on the contraceptive pill before so not really sure when I had a real period last? Just wondering when it’s likely to happen and if there’s a pattern? Xx
