Hmm, it's a struggle. I have no natural talent for languages, French was the only exam I consistently failed at school and my brain is far less efficient now than it was then.

I've found that the Michel Thomas CDs are helpful.

Must admit, I’m dreading the heat and all that walking. 
I’m told, there’s an I train or something 🤷🏼‍♀️ that takes you up and down International Drive.
There’s a seat with my name on it already. 
But we’ll see, no need to rush around, and trying to keep up with my OH is almost impossible.

You’ll have a great time, Jilly, I’m sure.
We cruised from Miami so only had a little taster of Florida. Couldn’t believe how hot it was in February 🥵.
The only other experience we’ve had of the US was a week in Las Vegas! OMG, never again - it’s just not for me!

Loved it.  Have been a few times before so this time just did Universal.  Harry Potter rides are amazing.

We didn’t do the parks last year but stayed next to the beach.  But Did the parks about 3 years ago. Only did Universal but loved it. The Harry Potter rides are amazing.

Oh Jilly. What I should say is that everyone I have spoken to that has been to LV has loved it. It's just me I think! My sis in law was desperate to go. Gambling, lots of "tackiness", x rated ads everywhere! Nopes, not for me. However..
Fantastic shows at night and gr8 cheesecake 
And I considered myself fortunate to survive a Grand Canyon helicopter trip 
I'll stick to cruising

I loved Las Vegas.  Not a place I would keep going back to but enjoyed it when we were there.

I’ve told OH it’s New York for my 60th. So not this Xmas coming, the next one.
He can’t say I didn’t give him enough time to gather up money then can he!

Oh I'd love New York at Xmas Jilly. I might drop a hint to my hubby - my 60th is Nov next year and it's our silver wedding next year too. A wee double celebration 🍾
