Hi. So I just used exactly what the manufacturers advised with both Wellsprings & Biovea - I think this equates to approx 25mg per day (split between 2 doses). I then read up alot on estrogen dominance symptoms and decided to try Natpro at their recommended dose of 50mg twice a day and this seemed to make alot of difference. This said, it could be that my general hormone levels had improved for the few months of using Biovea & WS, so it could be a cumulative affect but whilst I am getting good results I will stick with the Natpro.
I hadn't been using any estrogen at all but recently I was doing more research and have decided to add a little estrogen to the progesterone cream. I have ordered Wellsprings estrogen cream but its not arrived yet so results are pending..
I have gone down this route of trying different things out for myself as there seems to be SO much conflicting info out there from various mesopause 'experts', it was becoming overwhelming and exasperating. I decided that for the time being, all I can do is trust the reactions of my own body and just take a day at a time! x
ps, I take a break from the prog cream for 5 days once a month and I notice the hot flashes returning within a day or so. Theres a doctor on you tube called Barbara Hoffmann who says she doesn't take the monthly break but just skips the cream on a sunday instead, but I haven't tried this myself.
