I've always gone private for smaller procedures, colonography, scans etc and the difference is not only the waiting times but the result times,NHS can be weeks and weeks and as most of us know,it's awful the waiting game, private is no more than a week. When Bupa knew I had BC in the family they said they wouldn't cover me for anything related to that and also because I'd had gynaecological issues previously they said no to that too,so what was the point in being with them 🤷♀️ With BMI it's a monthly payment to the hospital rather that an insurance and they will treat anything regardless if you have had past issues.
