I have been on Everol sequi for 4 years as I am in Perimenopause stage and was having periods before and while on the HRT . I have missed a period and have gone 40 days not having one which I have never had that only when I was pregnant over 20 years ago . There is no chance I am pregnant . Is this normal for periods to stop even when on hrt  when starting the menopause stage from peri stage? I thought being on hrt you keep having periods and you only would know if you have gone through the menopause when you come off the hrt and you don’t have periods. I am hoping I am starting the next stage of menopause if no periods

Periods become erratic during peri menopause.  You may still get them but they could be further apart, or worse, more frequent as time goes on.  Or for some lucky women they will just stop altogether.  Being on HRT does not mean your periods won't stop.  You are classed as being post menopausal once you haven't had a period in a year (if over 50) or 2 years (if under 50).  You could go 9 months without one and then they could start up again.  Its a real rollercoaster!
