Falling apart
« on: September 17, 2022, 05:44:31 AM »

Honestly fed up with all this ,brain fog ridiculous etc. am on cerazette on and off have been on it 3 weeks ish and had the odd spot which I expected, but had a stressful week and pelvic pain yesterday and now looks what is like a period starting? Usually just before a period before cerazette I would wake up with sweaty in between boobs  and itchy down below and then period would follow but didn’t think it would with cerazette? It’s the fact that it just was sudden if that makes sense no build up to pmt wise.
Been having I assume breakthrough bout couple weeks ago for couple days nothing much but 5his is more crampy got no idea if it’s right or whether my health anxiety is going to go off scale again is bad enough already in case it’s something to worry about. I’ve just started taking menoforce sage that’s all else I’ve changed recently, really need the help please.x

Hi Booroo,

I just wanted to encourage you that the ladies on this forum will respond and help.

I'm post meno and have only just started HRT, I have anxiety and it really is awful.

Just wanted you to know that all the ladies on here will be able to identify completely what you are going through.

I hope you're okay, but just to let you know you really are not on your own on this journey.

The ladies on this forum have been outstanding and helped me so much already xxxx

Hello Booroo. May I ask the reason you are using Cerezette and why you have been using it on and off?

Coming on and off will confuse your body and you will have a withdrawal bleed. If you take it daily for at least 3 months then I would think the bleeding will reduce. I took it for 11 years myself and did not have any bleeding but I know we are all different.

Yes probably right there.
So next problem sorry  health anxiety through roof been stressful week but have pelvic pain like tugging achy feel at times, have also started using vagisan moisture only non hormonal as sooo dry and ibs kicking off too! Have had odd couple of blob discharge which looks like ovulation? Could this be all it is and just a bit more intense at times in peri? Not touched cerazette since cos wanted to see what natural cycle does maybe this is it? Debating whether to go doctor or not it’s not uti not burning or urgency to go pee.
Thanks

Are you using anything for vaginal atrophy? This will be the most helpful thing for you. You can use more vaginal moisturiser too. I was told by a menopause DR to wash using E45 as water alone dries the skin and after showering to apply E45 so there is a barrier too.

Does it sound like atrophy? Only using a moisturiser.
I also use dermol prescription for skin

It does sound like it to me. We will all get it during menopause so it is best to get it treated as soon as possible. Vaginal atrophy can cause soreness, constant needing to empty the bladder, UTI symptoms without an infection.

I would ask for Ovestin cream. It is applied internally and you can also apply some to the outer area. That will help with the soreness.

Cerazette does sometimes stop periods so that maybe why you were put on it. But you do need to take it continuously. I think I had a bit of breakthrough bleeding for a little while and I always got spots at a certain point in the cycle though both seem to have settled down now.
