Anyone else on Imvaggis pessaries?
« on: September 11, 2022, 08:59:39 AM »

Hi
Is anyone else here on Imvaggis pessaries? I'd be interested to hear what they think.
Thanks.

Hello Jellyb. I tried them but unfortunately they irritated me. I think it is worth trying to see if you are okay on them.

Thanks Flossieteacake,
Its interesting you say that.  I've been on them for a while and they were ok but the last couple of months I have been feeling sore the morning after I've used them. Is that what you found?
What did you swap to?
I'm thinking about asking to change to something else.

I also felt sore. I felt my skin was kind of irritated and uncomfortable. I cannot use Vagifem either as that gives me stomach cramps. I am back to using Ovestin. Maybe you could try that?

Thanks, yes that's what I feel. It almost feels like the beginnings of thrush each time I use it. I'll have a chat with my GP about changing to ovestin.

It is strange you and I both had the same reaction. I hope you can get Ovestin quickly. You could request it without an appointment. Hopefully that will be quicker.

Yes, thanks, I'm going to send an email tomorrow. See if that's enough for him to change it.

I've used Imvaggis and I occasionally got some vaginal itching but other times I was fine. I liked the fact it didn't have a long list of excipients unlike the creams.
