I watched some of the procession this morning, what pageantry and precision. I was pleased to see the throngs of well-behaved people paying their respects.

This morning on tv I saw David Beckham among the mourners in line waiting to pay their respects. It was nice to see, other than the reporters wanting a comment.

He was there at 5.00 a.m. yesterday, however - how many Police officers escorted him  - I counted 5. 

The Princess Royal has been back and from Scotland every other day ............. and the King was in Wales yesterday, then home to stand vigil with his siblings

My DD has been queuing for 10-5 hours but is nearly there now.

What are people doing for food/water/pee breaks?  The King and William went amongst the crowds earlier, don't they think what a huge security risk this is without them joining in?

My DD took food and water with her, there are plenty of toilets around and people are being really good if you leave the queue for the toilet then they just let you back in. She was lucky enough to speak to William and also she saw the changing of the guards at the coffin. Looking for somewhere to have a decent meal now then they will be heading back home.

MotoGP Paddock and Crowd have held 1 mins silence  in memory of our Queen  .......... silence all the way round, unlike the football crowds in Scotland

Sadly i reached saturation point last night around the 8pm silence build up. It all felt too much part of a PR excercise and unecessary when we have a silence after the service today. I also feel the first 'final' service in Windsor should remain private as it is meant to be amongst family and close friends and not be televised. 

We are hoping to spend the day with grandchildren or if not we will just go for a walk or do the garden. Tomorrow will be a very hard day for the royal family and possibly many other people.

Coverage here started at 4 am.  I was able to watch a few minutes of the service before I went to work.  I imagine the networks here will replay the entire thing tonight.  What I did see was very poignant.
