No hun no hrt yet i dont really want to go down that path as yet the ovestin isnt supose to be systemic i understand but for me lol im thinking i was that dry after 4yrs that ive absorded it well..and it has truly sorted alot of my problems my aches and pains have eased my headaches and neck pain has eased,my sinus and ear pain eased my hair dryness i know so im told its only localised but for me  this is what its sorted plus my reflux has gotten better so im not sure whats happening hun..so i will be asking nxt visit for a gyno visit IF i can be fit in 😔..i am concerned about my bp being so high during that 8 day period and dr has uped my bp meds but after that pms period i will call it my bp goes to low by the afternoon as in 110/75 ..so till i can speak to a pharmacist or dr im halving it to morning and arvo not sure if thats ok or not but it seems to be ok to day .. ::)

I was just checking because postmenopausal bleeding is much more common on HRT (and usually nothing to worry about).

If you're getting post-menopausal bleeding or spotting and you're not on HRT, you should definitely get it checked out as unfortunately the chances of it being something that needs treatment are higher. I don't know if you should wait till next month either - best to make an appointment ASAP. You will probably need to be referred for an ultrasound scan and there could be some wait, so best to get on the waiting list ASAP.

With the blood pressure, 110/75 is not low blood pressure - it's normal. Low blood pressure is below 95 over something. My blood pressure (now I'm off HRT) is frequently around 105/65. This is normal blood pressure, if on the low side.

I dont understand why they arnt researching meno more in us women i maybe in oz but we females are all built the same..and over the last 6months ive been trying to research we all start out with similar symptons hundteds of us mayb thousands but it changes with individuality..Ive been trying to tell my drs over 4yrs something was wrong we now our bodys ..heaps of tests cts.bloods, urines xrays, gyno ,ops, and hospital  emergency visits..and every time i mentioned meno ..i got no!! you are to old im 59 for god sake..im stressed wrying about why am i going thru this now over 4yrs on..me asking and thankfully getting ovestin from my young dr has helped..but why do the drs not consider meno..when there are so many of us with the same probs...now our medical system here is screwed and you have to wait forever for appts..im very disheartened tonight im diagnosing myself.. well trying to and as   ive had 5 rotating drs in 4yrs its so bloody wrong.. >:(

Things may be improving slowly in the UK thanks to publicity by celebs but we're not much further ahead. Many GPs here have no training in meno so many women are given ADs instead of HRT. And like yours many think meno symptoms resolve after a few years - well yes for some women but for many they're life long. You're lucky topical oestrogen has resolved other meno symptoms, I think that's quite unusual. All post menopausal bleeding should be investigated but as it's cyclical I'm inclined to think it may be your own hormones, the ovaries are still doing 'something' for some time after proper bleeds stop.

Thankyou sheila99 for replying..i m thinking like you cyclical
Thats why im not sressing to much about the slight bleed even tho they say i shouldnt be..im thinking and hopeing its just my ovaries haveing a last hoo rah so to speak..but finding someone up here rural were we live is proveing difficult.. my body is defiantly showing postmeno symptoms   i  thought id been thru most of it but this last 2 1/2 yrs things escalated  a little more .Dr are doing tests but not excepting it may be meno..And yes from everything ive been reading ovestin is doing more then it is supose to for me and for that im grateful..there littlle improvements but when you have had them for 4yrs its a bit of a relief knowing it could just all be hormonal 🤔
