Thanx.

Still poorly with this vicious sinusitis.
Haven’t been this ill for years. It really is horrendous.

Still recovering.
This is my 4th week now, and still I’m not 100%.
Finished ABs today, so 🤞🏼 I’ll feel better soon. ……🙏🏼

Was it something that U came home with from holiday?

Bloated.  After a lovely few hours working in the garden, the bloating began by 2.50.   :-\

Not sure if I caught it there, or I already had it.
I am better than last week, but still not right.
Can’t believe it’s taken so long to get over.
Is that age, OR new viruses going around? 🤔
I don’t know, but I’ve never felt so poorly! 🤒

:foryou:  it's new viruses which our systems are not accustomed to.

Drink plenty; get into the sunshine; rest; listen to your body.

Hi jillydoll,
Sorry to hear you are suffering.
I had bacterial sinusitis last March/April for a month and I can honestly say I don't remember ever feeling so poorly. I was producing so much phlegm - cough/nose/eyes - I felt like I was suffocating from it and was going to end up in hospital. The ABs did the trick but I still had to have strong nasal drops for a month in the summer to clear the post nasal drip.

It was nasty and since then I haven't been right and just rolled from one infection to post nasal drip to covid to cold....

I hope you recover soon. Plenty of rest and fluid X

Thanx.

I’m feeling much better, up and about now, but get tired so quickly.
I’m still phlegmy, but not as much, it’s more on my chest now, and when I get that tickle, that’s it! ☹️
It’s actually made me sick twice. It’s the force of the cough that turns my stomach.
Cough medicine upsets my stomach, so I’ve stopped that, and anyway, I’ve been told you shouldn’t suppress a cough as it’s your body trying to get rid of something irritating it.
I cancelled my dentist appointment, and the receptionist said she’d had the same thing.
OH and son have the virus now, but hopefully it won’t turn into anything nasty like what I’ve had. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤞🏼

On the mend now.
Feeling much, much better today.

Had to use extra oestrogen gel for two days, am I right in thinking ABs knock hrt off tilt? 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’m feeling better for it anyway. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Viruses are known to upset hormones, noticed particularly during and after Covid-19.  Women having periods after many years without.  Glad that U R recovering.  Don't do too much too soon!

My husband developed sleep apnea when he put on weight  :-\ - I would wake because he had stopped breathing!  Might be worthwhile jaypo for OH to have a general health check.

Belly rumbling and quite tight, jeans had to be undone.  again.
