Nope it's in the soft skin underneath the eye.

Guts rumbling away - still haven't worked out why it happens  :-\  :'(

TAMPING  >:(  :cuss:

DH has had a strange rash on his chest, under the arm and this evening it has shown signs of spreading.  Earlier this morning because we were in town I suggested showing it to a Pharmacist.  No.  He doesn't feel ill but I am convinced: and yep, have GOOGLED : shingles   :(

So TAMPING doesn't cover how I feel  :angryfire: :poke2: :kick:

Hope it isn’t CLKD, shingles can make you feel really poorly

Has he been vaccinated or is he too young?

I am getting a LOT of milage out of this  ;D. When DH had his shingles vaccine in October, I asked whether I could have mine as he was 70 and I would be in December - apparently I was 'too young'.  Later we found out that I could buy it at BOOTs from the age of 50  >:(

Last week DH complained of strange nipping pain in his shoulder blade followed 24 hours later by a feeling that he had been bitten under his arm.  We had been busy in the depths of the shrubbery cutting back and tying in.  However: long story short he developed a spreading rash on Mon evening ... seen a pharmacist this morning who confirmed my diagnosis of Tuesday night   tnx for asking  :D

OK now that he has a diagnosis  ::)

I think that due to having had the vaccine - which doesn't stop people getting the virus - he has not been affected as severely as he might have been.

I've covered him in Calamine lotion  ;D.  We are both weary now  ::)

Yes exactly CLKD. It doesn’t stop you catching it, just helps with how severe you get it.
My OH didn’t have his vaccination in the end, too many side effects, and what he’d been through all ready, he couldn’t face it, just incase he did get side effects.
He had his shingles on the side of his head/ neck, he’s never had so much pain. Still got nerve pain now from it. It looked absolutely awful on his head, and now you can see the scars, although they are fading.

Hope he’s ok clkd, TLC is what’s needed. 💖

Fortunately the vaccine has halted any awful side effects.

Like with any vaccine, it doesn't stop people getting 'flu etc..  Me - stuffed full of fresh bread with pork dripping plus freshly picked green beans  8)

Good, glad to hear it. It’s so painful.

I’m good today, ( and yesterday) wonder what’s going on. 🤔  ;D
Even cooked a leg of lamb for dinner, with all the trimmings. 😋
This can’t carry on, it’s not normal.  ;D
