Jet lag definitely gets worse as you get older plus throw covid into the mix 😴

Oh Songbird the others are right. Jet lag is non trivial but throwing covid into the mix won't have helped at all.
The thing is it will take time to feel fully better - be kind your yourself

Rest Girl Rest!  You have a virus which will knock the stuffing out of most people and when it's Covid effects can be worse.  Plus the stress B4 traveling, waiting around feeling ruff ......... when I had seasonal 'flu many years ago it took a week after the virus had gone B4 I began to regain energy.

Me - OK thus far  8)

Oh ladies, thanks so much for replying 🙏. I will give myself time to recover. I hadn’t realised the impact both conditions would have to be honest.  :thankyou:

That's good CLKD.  Are you back home yet or still away?

I'm brighter today, feeling more settled, ready to start organising, sorting, making progress, always a good sign with me.  I just felt beat up before, now I'm fighting back  ;D

Aha! That old.' Anticipation is worse than the event' which seems to catch many of us out. Feet up and relax now. It's I st and you feel so much better than you thought. That's a win. :)

Yes I'm already anticipating work next week.  I go out to work but also work from home, and next week is a work trip.

The noise here steps up from thursday, weekends are not good at all, and I look forward to monday and tuesday when it's all much less crazy and while I'm working from home, I'm back in control of my environment.  But next week I'm on a work trip and not in control, after what I anticipate to be a crazy weekend again.

That's where I'm at.  Life eh  ;D

Agreed SarahT.  I can't believe how relaxed I was once we hit the road on Thursday  :o.

KaraShannon - can't help other than sympthatise.  Going anywhere of interest on the works trip?

CLKD, no it's just a team meeting.  I will be fine once there, but I have anticipatory anxiety about whether I'll sleep well the night beforehand (I always seem to be shattered at these meetings having never slept well the night before, partly worry that I won't sleep).

It is what it is, I will take one day at a time.  :)
