Aww JuJu what a shame, hope you start to feel better soon. You're right about the sea air, when I lived in Aberdeen, I never had allergy issues, moved down to England (miles from the sea) and my nose runs constantly as do my eyes

I had to make do with reading as we didn't have a TV until I was 13  ::)

I've had 3 hours of feeling icy cold  :-\ so on went another layer plus the heating.  After a warming meal I can now shed a cardi.

Nothing now CLKD thanx. Was feeling a bit yuk the other day. 👍

Yep me too, I used to HATE Sunday nights because of school next day.
I used to love Thursdays, Top of The Pops was on tv.  :veil: BUT, what scared me to death was knowing I’d have to get through a sewing class, 🤷🏼‍♀️ at school on the afternoon beforehand. I had a dread of the old lady teacher we had, she was horrid. 🧟😂🤣
I remember I used to be ecstatic at half three, HOME TIME. 😃 ….sad really eh?

I know what you mean lol.  My mom could sew anything, I mean anything. When I took home economics in elementary school, she couldn't understand how on earth I could fail the unit on sewing...I hated it  ;D  I had a great teacher but I guess I didn't inherit my mom's "sewing genes".

I have taken pain relief for the troublesome tooth on Sat night and again last night: mouth tastes of blood all the while  ??? and when cleaning this afternoon, the area bled  >:( so out with the salt.  Again .   :-X

Jay, that’s so spooky. 😱🫣
Seems like we all hated sewing then.  :D

I’m a great advocate for salt rinses. EVERYTIME something goes wrong in my mouth, out comes the salt.  ;D
Seems like your a  slow healer CLKD. I’d be so down now if I was you, that’s one thing I can’t cope with, doesn’t help that I’ve a phobia of dentists either.  :'( Hope it gets better soon for you. 🤞🏼

I’m good today. ✔️

CLKD - could the Ibuprofen in the Nurofen you've been taking be worsening the bleeding following the tooth extraction?

"People also ask
Does ibuprofen increase bleeding after tooth extraction?
Abstract. Background: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are one of the most commonly used medications for both medical and dental ailments. These drugs have been shown to increase bleeding during surgeries, which may prompt practitioners to discontinue their use before surgical procedures."

Tnx Limpy - I did wonder as I swallowed the pain relief last night  :-\ so had a chat with my pharmacist friend who suggests moving to paracetamol at night.  It's been sore again but I haven't prodded the area although I do need to put a teepe around it later.  The dentist has this moment rung to bring my appt forwards by 2 weeks to see the hygienist  :-\ tomorrow afternoon.  That guy hasn't stopped!

Woken by a phone call in the early hours though DH did point out that by 8.45 most people have been at work for an hour  ;D.  Usual stuff tackled today.

Evening meal eaten.  Going to watch Strictly Takes 2 later.

Talking to yourself though  ???  :P

Mouth less sore since the hygienist put a puff of air into the socket area although it nipped at the time.  Weary.
