Why not use a local butcher? It may be a little more expensive than supermarkets but the quality is often better. It's like care homes: 1 pays for the whole package - raising the beasts , transport to market sales, transport back to the farm or slaughter house, then into the butchers' shop .......... we have also cut down on the quantity of meat eaten at each meal.
Our chippy serves HUGE pieces of white fish, enough 2 feed a family of 4

so we buy a piece each plus double chips. The chips crisp up lovely in the air frying the next day ;-)
