I haven't ironed anything for over ten years..... Sounds a bit slovenly I know  ;

We do keep one for emergency needs, ie weddings\funerals, but luckily don't wear anything even vaguely formal. Hang everything outside to dry in good weather and let the wind and gravity do it's stuff. Sorry can't be dealing with ironing.

But a butler.... Yes please. Can we get to choose what they look like she says dreamily. Sexist I know. But...

I have an ironing board propping up a wall.  Somewhere.  And an iron.  Somewhere.

Slept until 9.30 a.m.  :-\

DH and I have been for a walk  :o.  We had The Discussion about his expanding waist line  :-\ and how we can become more active.  So after dropping off books into the Charity Shop we took a brisk pace along by a river for about 20 mins..  Dull.  Dry.  Not particularly cold.  Must Try Harder was my regular end of year reports  ;D.

Laundry sorted.  Dishwasher filled.  Washing up done.  Sheets/pillow slips changed.

I probably step on the scales 3 times a year, out of interest.  It won't make much difference though  ::).  I've had to pull my belt in another notch recently  :o  :D

Put another log on the fire.

Lol Jaypo same as me, any weight loss and I freak. Happened last year when I lost a ton of weight due to peri / anxiety/ my mum. I spent about 9 months thinking I was dying of something, then started hrt and piled the weight back on, and am now complaining 🤣

Yep penguin,when I was in the throws of anxiety,the weight was dropping off me and every time I weighed myself I'd lost more,so the anxiety would go into overdrive then I'd lose more,geeze,we're an exhausting bunch aren't we ?  ;D

Took mum for her first pacemaker check today. Blimey, it’s been “kicking in” 70% of the time meaning that she really needed it. No wonder the poor thing kept passing out before having it fitted.
Isn’t modern medicine amazing?  ::)

Thank goodness for the technology!   Is she able to be monitored via wifi following the appt.?

Been to the loo and now feel queasy  :'(  :-\.  Wish my guts would behave normally  >:(

Also: did 40 mins moving of pots : I have a potted hellebores in full flower which will need eventually to be put into the shade .  It was moved in order to stand the potted camellia shrub in its place  ::).  Under stones/pots I found slugs - into the compost - any worms went into the pots, leaves++ ......... tidied into the compost.  Now to find a man strong enough to move the hellebores, Oh I know the ONE  :-*   8)
