Oh the snoring,my OH is the same but now I just really tug the duvet, nearly spins him out of bed  ;D

It's too hot for the covers so I can't spin him like that lol ;D   Actually, he sleeps on top of the covers and I'm under them most nights because I'm more comfy even if it's hot....go figure.

Up early to beat the heat and take the dog out and happened to catch a fox running along the road with a large rabbit (for breakfast?),  filled her kiddie pool that will likely go unused today (scaredy cat), made a protein smoothie, did some crochet...need a nap

Dog-free house today, laundry, cleaned the sofa in the front room of doggy dirt and fur, bought a lottery ticket for $55 million (wish me luck lol), bought a Starbucks decaf, watching a bit of Wimbledon...looks like a nice day there.

Not a lot.  From Thursday I've had a cold so kept on top of washing up and laundry, otherwise slept a lot.  Even through some of MotoGP qualifying  :-\. better yesterday so was able to watch all the racing.

Laundry blowing on the line, 2nd load whizzing round.
Boiler service arranged.
Council bins sorted.
Light lunch: hot Bovril with toast : eaten.
On here ..........

It's a holiday Monday so everyone is home. Dh made pancakes and bacon for breakfast,  watched the women's world cup match, took Mags for a quick walk (its raining), likely will catch up on chores.

Quite chuffed today. Managed to get funding from Local Authority to replace mum’s stairlift.

She was, I’m afraid, ripped off from a local Company who sold her a substandard stairlift and promptly went bankrupt.
These people make my blood boil - ripping off elderly/vulnerable people  :angryfire:

Once I explained the situation, the occupational therapist at the Council got funding for her - thank goodness!

Well done !   :medal:  we shouldn't have to beg!  Hopefully Trading Standards are aware of this Company, there may a Case pending.

Well done LA too!

Have begun pruning a thug of a budleah which is now too tall for its space.  It's had 3 years of reprieves  ;D, I need to take some cuttings.

Small yoghurt eaten.  Feet up.  DH is .........  :-X

 ;D ;D
I’ll just be glad that she’ll have a stairlift that’s reliable and fully maintained by the Council.
The current one keeps breaking down at the top of the stairs and it’s so big that there’s no room to get passed it so I have to crawl under it to get to mum and then reset the damn thing. Of course she thinks it’s hilarious, seeing me crawling across the landing  ;D ;D

I have a wee list on the go today!  Will get started on it after my second coffee   (waiting for mower batteries to charge)

And then later I think I'll sit down with a new book.
