How fun for Maggie - bit like a cat bringing home the mice but far more useful  ;D

Today was the 1st full racing of MotoGP 2023 season.   8)

We're not using the dishwasher just now CLKD. Too expensive to run but I've got an android model to do it all for me!  ;D ;)

Joking aside he's a good chap really and a constant supply of real ale/favourite meals helps with the motivation.

Today I was supposed to be going for a mammogram but had a last minute call from them to cancel. Something to do with technical issues (probably a fuse?). So I did the washing and some cleaning instead and gave the android a pass after lunch whilst I washed up myself.  ;D ;D. Rock and roll, me!

For years I said that I would never own a dishwasher, however when we were doing a lot of sports which meant getting back late, I changed my mind.  It's no more expensive to use than washing up if 1 runs hot water over plates to rinse off soap  >:(.  I don't run hot water from the cistern via the tank, preferring to boil the kettle which is quicker.

Thanx CLKD.
Had a great time, hectic tho. They had their spring break the first week, so everywhere was chocka.
Boiling hot too, so we were wacked out every night, don’t know how I managed the heat tbh, but I did.
No, don’t think we’ll go again, done all the parks and somehow you grow out of it all. Still, it was good to see it all one last time.
Some of the rides were amazing.  ;D but the food was rubbish. Expensive too. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Saw the alligators, and saw one swimming in a pool. They’re everywhere. Snakes too. We did stop to watch at some pools we walked past, only to see a bird of prey of some kind eating a fish.  ;D
You can buy real alligators heads in some shops,  :'( which we thought was gross. And some shops sell back scratchers with an alligators foot on the end. 🤮

They’ve banned me for being too loud Jay, it’s a wonder you didn’t hear me screaming on them rides.  ;D

OH! U went on the RIDES  :o.   I wouldn't be able to watch  ::)

Nowt wrong with an alligator back scratcher or head, great at Halloween  :whist: when the kids tap the door with flour and eggs to hand ......

They probably eat the meat so it's recycling  :-\.  I don't do anywhere with large spiders or snakes !

Watching the rain.   :-\

Watching the rain.   :-\

I'm watching the rain.  House is a bit dark, I don't put the lights on as I'm on a small street with houses closely opposite and we all hide from one another  ;D  it's ok on a normal bright day.

I have admin work to do, though I can be flexible about it. I'm going around gingerly hoping my high temp doesn't return.............so gentle day, walk around picking stuff up, a friend will collect a covid test just to be on the safe side (in a way I hope it's that, because then it's not my leg).  And I'll just watch some tv today, something I don't usually do during the day.  Yesterday was lovely but I was out of it asleep lol

Feeling pretty good. Anxiety held back and so completed loads of horrible admin tasks relating to my late mum's paperwork.
Not only did I not shout at anyone, I didn't cry with anxiety. Success.
And despite the continuous rain I got a walk in to help my bones as just been diagnosed with arthritis in BOTH hips. Shocked me, but I love\need to have a stomping good walk.

So what should have been a bad day turned out really successful. Feet up with a good book now. And.... Still raining. Oh well. Best shut the curtains so I can't see it!!

We went on the train, which was good, both ways, and down Diagon Alley, but the queue was far too long, something like an hour and half wait for the other rides, maybe longer. And in that heat, I was doing a slow death.  ;D
Went on the Avatar ride, where you ride a banchee, omg, my anticipation was just too much and I came close to saying no, I’m getting off, but as I was all strapped in and waiting to go, the screen dropped, and off I went riding this banchee.  ;D But I’m so glad I did it, I loved it so much, just went with it, and wanted to go back on, but the queue was massive, very popular. OH hated it.  ;D
Soarin was good at Epcot. A bit slow for me tho.  ;D

I wanted to do the new ride, but it wasn’t open until April. It’s at the magic kingdom, Tron. Looks brilliant.  ;D
