Took Maggie for another cold and windy walk, dh took one of the cars in for an oil change, after lunch we see our financial planner for our annual get-together just so he can tell us we can't retire yet. :'(

You may get a surprise C.C.!  DH made a ins/outs spread sheet for 12 months, our Financial Advisor ticked the boxes in agreement and here we are: 10 years later  ;)

Sorted more postcards - these have stamps on so those sent to my parents from 1988 from anywhere other than Switzerland are into an album; should interest stamp collectors

Almost let the 🔥 go out  :o

Just finished doing a very good review for a local company who installed a new boiler for us today  :)
Had been without hot water and heating for two days 😲. Had a lovely hot bath earlier 👌

The only bubbles for me is of the Prosecco kind CLKD  ;D…..
Preparing for weekly visit from sis in law - nespresso and cake ready. Cockapoo getting ready for visit from his hairy cousin (her dog, not sis in law)  ;D ;D

Hive Apiary then ?  ;)

Taken the car for its annual service and MOT.  Fed wild birds.  Looked at the weather, it's cold 🥶.  Cuppa to hand.

Planted 15 polyanthus plants after weeding out celandines and other weeds.  Pausing for a cuppa  8)

Blimey clkd,if someone offered me a quickie divorce yesterday,I'd have bitten their hand off,the ENTIRE day consisted of him telling me every minute detail of his COLD and moaning like he was in pain,yet,when on the phone to people he was speaking perfectly normal,NOT like he was taking his last breath  >:(
