I know Jaypo. Honestly the amount of detail you have to go into, I would imagine very few elderly people could manage to complete without support  >:(

That's why they put all the fires and hoops in place  >:(

A GP letter should be enough to renew a Blue Badge!

Lots of packing with bubble wrap.  Boxes put into safe places.  I think that some of the contents will go into the cabinets for sale ;-).

Fire lit.  Feet up. Evening meal cooked, eaten and cleared away.

Driven across parts of Oxfordshire and Northants: still a lot of Autumnal colour despite the wind/rain.  Would I have seen lambs  :-\ this late/early?

Antiques fair, met with friends.  Home for light lunch then out to a garden centre and antiques shop.  Home now. Fire lit.  8)

Yep, she's growing for sure. I might have daycare weigh her tomorrow so I know how much she's gained in this last month.  She'll be 6 months old on Wednesday.

I remember my mother used to write on the back of all photos. Now they're all on the PC, but I do sort them into folders so I have an idea when they were taken. We also use them as screen savers so we get to see them from time to time, because otherwise they're just stored. There are times when OH or I will see one and wonder where it was or who the strange person is! I scanned all of the actual photos and put them on the PC too. There's one that was taken when we went to Brussels. It's from the days before digital cameras so when you took the film to Boots and waited a week in anticipation, and only took one photo per place, and instead of a lovely restaurant pic it's filled with an old man wearing a trilby, blue mac and scowling  :D

;D. Is it 1 of your photos though .......... we used to send ours to Max Speilmann and wait about 7-10 days for the returns.  I have a folder of negatives somewhere too.

Maybe get them into albums for any younger family members for posterity ? I spent ages after one Christmas when I had time splitting photos between albums for my two children  and then grandchildren to have.  There will be a day when they get them out of the attic !
I’ve got some old ‘one side of family’ albums with unidentified photos which is a pity but every picture tells a story somehow.
Photos in bags can easily go missing. A whole suitcase of photos that my gran had under her bed was taken by
a distant relative with ideas of her own never to be seen again. My dad was none too pleased it wasn’t her right to take them and I wish my gran had passed them on earlier. Probably why I’ve sorted ours !

Been the pub for a carvery.
It was freezing in there, we had a drink & our meal, and left as quick as we could.
The heating in the car was calling us.  ;D

I think most places are keeping their heating off nowadays, the staff must be freezing!  :-\
