One has to watch the joints though, as dogs don't know when to stop!  In the wild they would run in short bursts then rest for hours.  However, Zoomies will get rid of the excess energy.  Will she hunt for dried food?  If you have a yard/garden that is enclosed, putting treats under pots, behind plants etc. keeps the nose and brain working.

Taken Paracetamol mid-afternoon.  Done a salt rinse  :-X which actually helps ease the soreness . Fish fingers, rice and peas, eaten slowly.  Milk of Magnesia required  :-\. Catching up with sat papers.

  I will let her know!  She isn't much of a drinker so she'll likely behave herself...maybe.  Her friend will have discovered all the good spots to go by then  :)

Took Maggie for a walk downtown and to the lakefront park and had her first glimpse of Lake Ontario...wasn't impressed, more important to her there were tons of sticks on the ground to chew while navigating around the goose poop. ::),  stopped at Starbucks on the way back for a decaf cafe Misto.

Don't throw sticks, they can get stuck in the throat and/or piece the mouth into the nasal cavity.  Messy and fatal.  Is Maggie allowed in Starbucks?

She will sometimes chew a stick but she would rather hold them in her mouth. If she does happen to chew one, she is good and spits out the chewed-up pieces.  In this case, I kept her away from the ones on the ground due to the high amount of goose poop.  As for Starbucks, we went through the drive-thru  :)

Took pain relief and did a salt mouth wash at 3.45 .... took ages for the nurofen to kick in

Slept until 9.30, laundry and dishwasher sorted.  Watching some of the Queen's procession in-between chores
Birds and pond fish fed

Light lunch eaten

Caught a few minutes of the funeral before work, morning shift, wanted to take pup for a walk but it's raining, made a coffee and toasted bagel instead.

I hope you can watch some of the procession, as it was led by the RMCP. It was brilliant, I was glued to the whole thing!

Remind me: RMCP?   The Company of Archers were present too.  What a long day for them all.

Eaten a chicken curry with rice, now getting myself round some ice cream  8)
