What's your Mum feeding the ducks with?  It's nesting season ......... around where birds are fed can get messy and smelly  :-X:sick02:  a few specific pellets, they don't need much.  I was going to keep ducks but OH they are MESSY  :o

Will watch the Concert later.  As well as catching up on Le Giro ..........

There’s a big sign at the pond making suggestions re food for the ducks, CLKD. Mum focuses on the bit saying that they love sweetcorn so that’s what they get - mum insists on Green Giant - Tesco’s own make isn’t good enough  ;D ;D
Coots were nesting and we saw another pair with the cutest looking chicks I have ever seen - they were tiny! Oh, I do hope the horrible seagulls don’t swoop down and carry them off
Watching the concert later too. Was quite surprised at the number of acts turning the gig down 🤷‍♀️

Oh. Glad you had a lovely break Jaypo. 😊
Was going to have a housework day but the lure of a garden centre lunch was too much - well, it is a bank holiday - it's allowed  ;D

Certainly is allowed Songbird - did U buy anything other than  :cupcake:

Watched the rain.  Nipped into the garden between showers to dig up sorrel plants.  Growing in the wrong places  ::)

Our chickens loved tinned sweet corn 🌽

I bought a lovely hanging basket CLKD. It was so pretty - couldn't resist.
I love cold sweetcorn in a salad  ;D...
I opened the tin for mum when she was feeding the ducks. I turned away and quickly swallowed a small handful but, unfortunately, mum saw me.....
"Stop that - it's for the ducks!"....I got the fright of my life!

Certainly did Jaypo. I was, momentarily, 5 years old again  ;D…..
When I worked for the Council I had to take something to the local secondary school. I was running late and was jogging along a corridor to get to the classroom. The head teacher, unbeknowns to me, was behind me and shouted “WALK GIRL!”  Well! I just about pooped my pants! Yet again, I was back to being 5 again!
The cheeky bugger had the audacity to fall about laughing afterwards..😆

Just awaiting my sis in law coming for weekly coffee and cake 🧁

'got a row' ...........  ::)

I hated Primary School.  I was raised in a 2 parent household with no friends in the village of 6 houses; so school was noisy, intimidating ......... having to get on a bus to go, Mum pushing from behind, the driver pulling me on  :-\ :'(

I remember absolutely nowt from my school days  :-\.  Senior school was marginally better as we did music and drama ;-)

This morning: breakfast and cuppa to hand : wondering.
