Lying on the sofa feeling like a poisoned pup
Took mum for afternoon tea and, frankly, couldn't resist any of it
. Mum was the sensible one, not pigging out like me! 🤪

Lots outside. We have hoiked out hebe plants that died, after a week I've worked out most of the soil from the roots B4 throwing them into the Council bin. So glad that I did because I found lots of healthy worms which are back in the border. I may be able to revive 1 of the plants, it's in deep water now for a good drink B4 I find a deep pot. Planted in a shady spot it may 'do' again.
Also washing the saucers/bird baths - an old loo brush works wonders. Ordered meal worms. Sat in the sunshine with a cuppa.
Light lunch to hand

Cleaning windows: that's like ironing in this house ........ never crosses our minds
Sat in the warm ☀️ 🌞 ......... watching the wild birds, thinking what to do next. DH told me to rest !
Inside now.

Cleaned all 3 bathrooms today (who needs 3 loos?! Not me! What possessed me!)
I was a bit whacked afterwards. It's got to be the most Labour intensive job in the house
Also got the washing done and hung out so I'm feeling quite smug today

Wondering how two adults in a large house can make so much laundry/washing up/dust/clutter
.
Been to a garden centre
Light lunch
Cuppa to hand
Back to the bathroom cleaning later
Need to re-sheet our bed
