Crazy fatigue and hazy feel
«
on:

Hello lovelies
So I just would like some advice please. Been on yasmin pill (30mcg) for 6 days altogether and I have never ever felt this type of fatigue. I'm tired out, low mood, feel jittery and my internal physical anxiety feels more. My fingers won't stop shaking.
Maybe I need a lower dose contraceptive pill?

Apologies- I am taking this route for perimenopause. Not keen on HRT just yet as alot of my friends are on the pill for peri with success.

It takes time for any medication to start working, 6 days is nothing.
Just because it works for your friends, doesn’t mean it will work for you ( it might and hopefully will).
Example: My mum takes Premarin HRT no issues, it doesn’t work for me at all.
How old are you? What are your main peri symptoms?

I simply cannot do anything much today and yesterday. I feel like a drunk zombie. Very shaky hands and so tired.
My friends are on different forms of the pill. Only me who chose yasmin.

You have two choices, either to ride it out or come off it. As mentioned before, 6 days is nothing. It will take a few weeks to get into your system and for you to know whether it’s the drug for you.
It’s all trial and error with a ton of patience thrown in I’m afraid.

I have all your symptoms and I don't take HRT. Since 1988 I have been taking ADs and anti-anxiety medications which cause busy dreams = feeling hung over and very tired.
Thyroid function problems and low VitD levels may cause similar symptoms.
