It is so difficult to see a doctor or a practisioner nurse. They messed up my referral to the menopausal unit so instead of 11 months wait I've got 2 years  :'(
Kathleen thank you for that I will try and contact them I am open to any suggestions on how to get on top of this full stop does anybody else suffer from sore bones from the menopause?
Thank you all again

Yep.  As oestrogen levels drop muscles may become lax = aches and pains.  Have U tried an over the counter pain relief?

Acid reflux is common as we age, due to the above.  'hiatus hernia' should be investigated, have you been given treatment - I managed with Milk of Magnesia for years then developed an irritating reflux cough.  My GP gave me Omeprazolol which does help.

I don't know how GPs  are still not opening their surgeries to face2face appts.  We go via the receptionist on the 'phone, followed by a GP/Pharmacist and a Surgery invite if necessary.

Hi CLKD,  I've had all the tests, scans and scopes and all normal.   Tried the medications e.g. omeprazolol (and other PPIs) but made me very unwell so manage it with diet and gaviscon.   I seem to absorb (even Vagifem!!) easily.  I'm on second half patch of Everol 50 - was ok earlier this week  but bit of anxiety is creeping in which I had under control; not sure if shedding more hair; general malaise feeling; very tired and could drop off standing up to be honest; increased thick headedness.   But we have had the heatwave which made me feel rubbish anyway.  So not one of those women who gets the miracle effect unfortunately.   Will stick with it and monitor.
