I'm with you, Jilly, re helicopters 
We went to Las Vegas (worst holiday of my life BTW  ) with hubby, his sister and her hubby.
One of her bucket list things was a helicopter ride over Grand Canyon - my idea of hell-
I did it all the same 
They blinking well weigh you b4 you get on 😲-
Not a gr8 start methinks.
Honestly, I nearly dropped to my knees, thanking my lucky stars when we eventually got back onto terra firma

There's an octopus in one of the cartoons .......... it might give me a giggle from behind the settee

Yes, Songbird, that’s what I was thinking too, the Grand Canyon,  my son mentioned it said he’d love it.

I did stand in a Marine Centre in Oban in front of a large tank to watch 4 of them  and all the hairs on my body stood up.  OK they are intelligent.  OK they will leave one tank to take crabs out of another because they can see them across the room ........ and go back having eaten them! 

DH tells me that he wouldn't wing walk

Oh and I wouldn't look tripe in the face 

I am very tactile but no way with anything that lives int he sea with arms  .  Apparently there is an increase in octopus around the Devon coastline.  That's another place crossed off the list then.

I couldn't sit at a table when anyone had calamari, do U watch him C.C.?

Tripe is pretty gross too.
I can watch dh eat calamari rings, they look like onion rings but when he digs into the tentacles..nope. When we used to have dinner at his parent's house, my fil would make calamari and I could not be near the kitchen when he was cleaning them.

We’ve done this and they sat me next to the window that went all the way to the floor.      I never realised how loud they were inside. (Even with headphones on).   Not sure I’d do it again but really glad I did it.

wouldn't drive on the motorbikes filming as they follow le Tour nor would I be in the helicopter, filming

I've done the GC helicopter, but didn't get weighed. I was a bit nervous before but loved it, and would do it again. I did a fish prep course and one of the tasks was to prep squid, so I'm happy to eat calamari when it's on offer, and would do the deep sea diving but probably wouldn't be allowed as I can't swim!

Anything with snakes. They absolutely terrify me, and an ex used to have several as pets!!! Guess why he's an ex
