Nausea for those still having periods
« on: July 14, 2022, 12:16:16 PM »

Hi all

Diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia (simple no atypia) but now back to having fairly regular periods so not taking any hormones as not allowed oestrogen.  For those of you still having periods, does anyone get horrible nausea, a grim headache and feeling like you need to eat something but not sure what as your period starts!  Which of the wonderful hormones might be causing this delight?!!!!

thanks

Yep.  This happened to me at the start of peri.  The National Association for Pre-menstrual Syndrome recommended eating every 3 hours 24/7.  Little and often.

The idea being to replace energy before the body demands it = nausea.

Hydration is important too.

Can you judge when that particular day might happen so the tyou can stock up ........ some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use.
