Hair loss

Hi all I’ve been struggling with hot flushes dodgy periods for a while now but have also started to notice my hair is becoming thinner and I’m beginning to feel like i losing it .
I’ve been given the hrt evorel sequi patches , it states that serious side effects can cause alopecia. Can anyone advise me has anyone lost more hair through the patches as my hair thinning is really concerning me without making it worse .   I realise this sounds vain but my anixety levels are at high .

Not vain at all!

 :welcomemm:  my hairdresser recently told me that hair follicles don't regrow as the same rate as we age.  On Sunday I posted a snippet from a magazine on a thread about hair loss - U R not alone!

Hello Loopy.

So sorry you are experiencing hair thinning.
I had the same issue in peri menopause, thankfully my hair back then was very think now described as fine ....but all ok.

Possibly speak to your hairdresser as I did for reassurance
