What's wrong that people [Kirsty Walk] 'come out with info. now .........  :-\       why don't they either speak up or shut up?  It was banter, probably.  I suppose the BEEB will now be rushing through all the schedules to see that Greg might be in .......

Any1 having problems with ITV Channels?  :-\

She's no shrinking violet so why didn't she challenge him at the time if she was offended? Looking back I remember a lot of banter / risque comments from my early work days, and it never bothered me. If it had I would have said something, but it was just the way things were in those days. I doubt it was malicious and people probably didn't really think what they were saying. When you consider that TV was showing stuff like the Carry On films, Benny Hill, etc it would be seen as normal.

Agreed getting_old.  Banter was expected as well as the older women warning young girls new to the Company who to avoid because they 'had wandering hand trouble'.

Am watching the programme  " SWIPED " where children and teachers give up all their modern gadgets for 21 days.  One family has a child with a smart phone  >:(.  A couple of kids taking part keep saying that they are bored, we weren't allowed to be bored.

The parents involved should have been prepared to take time with their children in activities, going places, talking more.  A lot of this is compensatory culture because parents are away for long periods.

I'm looking forwards to the new Wallace and Grommet although it clashes with The Piano at C.mas  >:( >:( >:( : yesterday I saw a W & G about the bakers being murdered  :o that somehow I had missed!  Saw Doris Day in Calamity Jane, almost missed her sliding down the Bar  :o  :o ......... brought back memories of watching musicals on a Sat afternoon after Dad bought Mum a TV.

Watched Alfie Boe looking for 'a place in the country', there R a few of those to catch up on.  Two programmes later on BBC ; Shrek and Repair Shop.
