Last Yorkshire Farm tonight  :-\ - they seem such a well balanced, jolly family - full of praise and relaxation but getting on with daily chores.

Elton John and Graham Norton on Thursday evening ......... I'm not an Elton fan particularly but I remember Dad coming in elated from his garage: he had a radio in there whilst doing hobbies : extolling this chap who played classical music ....... I wonder what Dad would have thought with the later shenanigans  ::).

I saw the 1st Hurdity - one has to be self sufficient, a bit like the guys on the Farm [above] and like one's own company too.

Swimming in the tarns and rivers, shivered a lot this evening and I have the fire burning  ;D

Anyone watching Dan Snow in Egypt.  Crikey.  I hadn't realised that the Tombs were that: HUGE.  Miles of them with beautifully decorated walls plus the grave artifcats.  Now I believe in Life after Death but don't want stuff - I want peace and quiet  ;D but what Dan was looking at earlier are stunning!!

I went to the Tutenkhamun exhibition in London earlier this month.  The detail in the items is amazing, it's so difficult to think just how old they are.  After the exhibition closes the items are going back to a permanent museum in Cairo, go and see them now otherwise it's a long journey to see them in Egypt.

Hopefully the Museum will be well protected in case of another Arab Spring.  It's the age on items that amazes me and the scale of those tombs on TV last night  :o
