Anyone watching ‘the variety show'
I'd forgotten that Ken Dodd had died earlier in the year,
It's funny how we forget, but to be honest, I thought Notty Ash was a fictional place.
But no, it is a REAL place, in Liverpool!
Did anyone else think it was fictional?
Or is it just me?   Lol😃
Poor old Ken Dodd, I loved him when I was a kid...👶😘

I kind of new !!!!  ::)  it was real ........... thought the whole concept weird though  :-\ and I turned off as I can't stand the man fronting the programme.

Didn't get far with Mrs Wilson over-all.

A gentle programme with plenty of reminders of his previous travels.  Don't know that I would want a gaiter in my garden though, it's bad enough when the heron arrives  :D

I watched Griff Rhys Jones as well as a monologue about a Christmas Carol last night not sure about the latter - had I not known the story I would have swtiched off after 10 mins..  I can however, listen to Griff  :-* all day long.   Hopefully the Muppets will be on sometime?  ;)

I love Griffs voice too. ❤️

While I've been under the weather, I've been watching ‘Bleak House'
I love Charles Dickens..........

One of my favourite films of all time is Wuthering Heights. So at some point I'll be watching that over Xmas. 👀😉😉

I laughed all the way through the original and apparently, the book is far better.  I will be giving this one a miss!

That's a shame, it looks good.  Saw a snippet this morning.

There seems to be no movement in the animation  :-\ the pre-views look flat.

Let us know.  Because rabbits do a lot of damage and are not fluffy in fact they can be quite nasty to each other, I do wonder what the book was trying to tell us.

Just been looking through the guide.  Doesn't appear to be much on over the holiday period.  Luther is on though, a four parter.
Will have to watch a Netflix.
