I have been gardening this week so not watched any afternoon TV!  Saw Jasmine last night with her brothers and Mum - can relate to both sides, as I tend to put stuff onto the floor in piles ready to sort 'later' but my brain won't allow me to go through it; at least when it's on the floor I can see for when I am ready to sort it out.

OK - Jasmine who presents the Channel 4 'home or away' programme - has a mum who hoards obsessively.  The programme showed how it is difficult for the mum to give/sell 'stuff' and how difficult it is for Jasmine and her 4 brothers to pursuade mum to part with anything at all without there being a row.  I felt there was a lot of 'control' from the mother's part: she raised the children alone in recent years as the husband couldn't cope with the clutter: but being in control means we feel 'safe'.  I can well understand how it gets to that state though!

Anything worth seeing today?

I watched the programme about Jasmine's hoarder Mum too.  It was very brave of them to put it all out there for the cameras but sadly there didn't seem to be an answer.  I bet she'll soon fill any space they manage to create in the house. I did notice how spotless Jasmine's own home was but I suppose that's a natural reaction to how she was brought up. After watching it my OH and I both went and had a bit of a sort out of our stuff.  I love having a clear out anyway so all I could find was one old T shirt that had a wonky neck after a few washes - why does that happen? My OH found a load of old magazines and holiday brochures for recycling.

Have been watching old Ironside progs.  Really enjoyed them.  Think that sadly a lot of the cast are know passed away but really good actors and good story lines.  Wish they would rerun maybe The Virginian or High Chapperal even Bonanza which I remember fondly from when I was about ten!  Used to be some good stuff came from America.  Not so much now.

Sometimes of a morning [if I have time] I enjoy watching re-runs of Everybody loves Raymond and Frazier.

Sunday mornings I watch the omnibus of Heartbeat. Also like "Cracker" which they show on Sunday evenings I think on ITV 3 or 2.
I remember enjoying "double your money" and "Take your pick" when I was still in ankle socks and pig tails.  ;)

.Meg there was a Bonanza channel for a while haven't seen it recently tho. I loved the High Chapparal. Trampas sadly passed away recently, but there is a Dana Mark McClure make up artist, daughter?

Suzi Australian Masterchef starts with us soon,  4th Sept on Watch, I love it.
Then it'll be Junior Ozz MC, NZ MC and our own MC and Strictly  Great.
British baker thingy is on too, with Mel and Sue. Can tell my OH is a foody ;D ;D ;D

We love Castle and have started watching Body of Proof.  And of course The Big bang Theory. All US.

Any one watched New Tricks its really good? I love Alun Armstrong in it. The others are great too.

Did anyone watch the Ocean Giants, I just loved the Amazon dolphins with their pinky/golden flippers. The pilot whales looked evil, gave me a shudder.  I was really glad they didn't show them killing a sperm whale baby. Time to put on my Hump Back CD I think LOL :) :) and relax.

Is this a new Downton A or a repeat?  I want to see that nasty chap who had it in for our hero end up on the western front as a strecher bearer with no gun te he ;D ;D

Did anyone see Undercover Boss USA this week?  He never stopped crying!  Having said that though, he seemed a nice bloke.
