Hi, everybody, I am a newbie and wanted to say hi :)

I am 53 and omg the last 2 weeks have been terrible! I had my last period in Dec 2019. The last weeks I have had 'period' pains, when they first appeared I thought it might be side effects from my gallbladder op 1 year ago. Have an doc appointment tomorrow. And I do have light headaches and pain in my body. All this is so stressful, and sometimes I just want to cry. So happy that I found this forum, where I can find some help :)

Hi!  as oestrogen levels drop the body may become dry: inside and out - skin, vagina, scalp, deep in the ears, eyes; as well as muscles may become lax = aches and pains.  Browse round.  Make notes.

Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use.

Even after 25 years with no periods, occasionally I think "oh not again!" when I get similar pains.
