Change of subject tonight lovely ladies!

The Queen, I am so very proud of her and would like to thank her tonight for all she has done for this country in the last seventy years.

We’re lighting out small beacon tonight to wish her well.  xx

I was out  yesterday but caught up with Kirsty on BBC 1 last night  8). Such positive comments from across the World.  However, I was annoyed when she told us that Julian had asked Lulu if she is Scottish, this was off camera and I didn't think it appropriate to call him to order on air.   >:(. We all make mistakes !!

How lovely to see the Queen walking with dignity to push that button to start the double helix chain across from Windsor to Buckingham Palace ;-)

I hope to catch some of the concert ............ light drizzle here  :-\

Watching the arrival of the Royals etc. prior to the Celebration - I wonder whether the Queen, Grand/gt grandkids are watching on TV?  Would like to think so, feet up - poached egg on toast to hand  ;)

It's a long day for many, wonder what they do for a loo break  :o.  One lady in the line up was using smelling salts earlier  :-\.  They seem to be packed tightly too!

Harry and Megan are dignified , pity that they didn't acknowledge the crowds greeting as Catherine and William did with a small wave.  I think that Camilla is wearing her wedding outfit but it hasn't been mentioned.  Yet ;-)

Once the Service begins I'll flip back to MotoGP ;-)

I'm not a royalist but i do respect the Queen. She has been a loyal servant to our country & i think the day she passes the crown on or dies, will be devastating for the UK & the Royal family themselves.
I have actually met the Queen & many other royals & they were all pleasant & chatty.
There doesn't seem to be many...if any...jubilee parties in my surrounding area, which is a shame as I'm always told of the street parties everyone had for her in the late 70's & Diana & Charles wedding.

It's lovely 2 see the countries coming together.  It's a reminder of our long history and social changes.  It can involve incomers too, i.e. the Ukraine refugees recently taken in.  Something a little different to put events in the back ground for a few hours.

Now watching Clive with the Royal Jewels :-)

Did any1 else feel that the BBC shut off the Jubilee Party too promptly?  I give 1 Direction 10/10.  Diana Ross ...... a disappointment, flown All That Way!  Then William spouting off about being 'more green', not mentioning of course that Princess Anne and Tim flew to Scotland after the Service on Friday afternoon: and back in time for last night and that Edward and Sophie did the same: to N Ireland.   >:(

How did all the Royals get to the various events?  They didn't walk.   :-\.  These people need to begin practicing what they Preach?

In general I enjoyed the concert, other than not hearing all the words! my ears continue to ring and I didn't have the TV on that loud  ;D
