I have been on Femseven Conti patches for about 4 weeks. I was okay first 3 weeks but the last week they are causing terrible irritation and running out of places to put them. Can you place them anywhere waist down?

I believe you can. I think people mainly try the thigh, bottom or lower back.

I understand that you can spray Beconase or an asthma inhaler on the proposed patch site, allow it to dry, and then apply the patch. This is said to prevent irritation. I'm almost certain I read that first on this Forum, but it might have been on the Menopause Support Network.

I have tried mine on bottom, thigh outer and inner and I think some put just below knicker line. I generally stick on the inner thigh, I have had one reaction where it was red and sore on the site of the patch , it was a very hot day so I put it down to that. X

Hi
I had this but discovered a change of brand worked for me. Estraderm was the culprit so changed to Evorel, and now on Estradot and I have never had any problems since. I feel your pain as was horrible!

Sometimes my evorel patches cause irritation and redness.
I ignore it, not a great idea.
I tend to put mine below the waist, either in front, or behind, above the bum.
